Known as a social butterfly, he was deeply involved in the community, never hesitating to lend a helping hand or share a captivating story. Pisgah Church for over 45 years, Mark was an integral part of the Methodist Men and served as a Lead Usher for many years. However, his favorite pastime was fishing, especially when the fish weren’t biting. His love for the outdoors extended to camping, backpacking, and gardening. A certified scuba diver, Mark found joy exploring the depths of the ocean. He actively participated in leader training within the Boy Scouts, sharing his knowledge and passion with countless young scouts. Mark was a devoted Boy Scout leader with Troop 316 and its venture crew for over 30 years. Mark Royston Nolte, born on April 23, 1950, in Audrain, MO, peacefully passed away on February 15, 2024, in Greensboro, NC, at the age of 73. Kenny In his leisure enjoyed watching old westernsĪnd was a lover of good music, be it Johnny Taylor or country. As a young man Kenny was a talented artist who enjoyed sketching and drawing. His employment went on to include Cone Mills (Revolution Plant) and a Supervisor for Birds Roofing company until his health failed. In his teenage years he worked for K&W Cafeteria. Kenny had a great work ethic, starting as a young boy, with a paper route, and selling seeds. Upon his parents' relocation to Greensboro, North Carolina, he concluded his education at David D. She was a founding and board member of the International Civil Rights Center and Museum. Gladys was a pioneer and trailblazer in the community who fought for equality and social justice. She founded this company in 1987 which has become the largest minority home care provider in North Carolina. She was the President, CEO and Executive Director of Shipman Family Home Care, Inc. She was educated in the local public schools and graduated from James B. She was a native of Guilford County and was born on Septemto AJ Faulks and Eugenia Grier Faulks. Shipman, 76, passed away Monday, Septemat Moses Cone Hospital.
